Bus Trip to Lancaster

Sep 27th - All Day
Sep 28th - All Day

Explore Lancaster County beyond its “Amish country” heritage. Keeping an eye on Westmoreland County history, one of our stops is Rockford Plantation, built by Revolutionary War General Edward Hand. He was the namesake for Fort Hand, located in Washington Township, Westmoreland County, and served as a commander at Fort Pitt. Other activities include Strasburg Rail Road Museum and a train ride aboard a restored steam locomotive with a stop for a picnic lunch in the countryside; and a horse drawn wagon ride at Landis Valley—a living history museum that interprets the culture of the Pennsylvania German rural community from 1740 to 1940.

Includes overnight accommodations at the Lancaster Marriott on Penn Square, all admissions and guided tours to the historic sites, all meals (including gratuities), etc. Reservations are required, with full payment due by Monday, August 20.
