In 2020, the Lefevre House was carefully taken apart from its original location in Jeannette and reconstructed at Historic Hanna's Town, joining many other reconstructed buildings and structures that interpret early American history.

1773 - 2023

This year Westmoreland County celebrates it's 250th Anniversary!

Established on February 26th, 1773 Hanna's Town was the first Westmoreland County seat.

We invite you to join us during the year to commemorate this milestone. We have lots of engaging, fun and educational programs and events planned for 2023!

The Westmoreland Historical Society together with the county's historic sites, museums and cultural attractions have teamed up to create Westmoreland 250 Exhibit a collection of images, artifacts and stories chronicling the development of Westmoreland County over 250 years.

Westmoreland 250 Exhibit will open in April 2023.
