Frontier Court Days 2021

IMG_6216.

Huzzah! We had a successful Frontier Court Days this year. After being on hiatus last year, we were grateful to welcome the community back to Historic Hanna’s Town for our signature event.

Frontier Court Days pays tribute to Hanna’s Town as the first seat of government for Westmoreland County and site of the first English courts west of the Allegheny Mountains. Since the bicentennial of Westmoreland County in 1973, Historic Hanna’s Town has reenacted actual county court cases and offered living history programs to share stories of the Pennsylvania frontier during American Revolution.

Special Thanks

Reenacting Groups: Independent Battalion Westmoreland County Pennsylvania (Proctor’s Militia), 8th Pennsylvania Regiment, Fort McIntosh Garrison, 60th Royal Americans, and Rangers of the Ohio Company
