TO BUY TICKETS ON TOUR DAY ($30), GO TO THE WARDEN HOUSE AT 200 SOUTH CHURCH ST. IN MOUNT PLEASANT
The Westmoreland Historical Society is once again opening doors to the remarkably rich history of Westmoreland County with our Historic House Tour. This year’s tour features seven houses in the Mount Pleasant area dating from 1785 to 1904.
Since 2007 the WHS has provided a historic house tour in the fall. The homes and lives of the people of Westmoreland County reflect the history of America and the important role our county has played. National and world events are carried out, or reflected, at the local level by our family, neighbors, and friends. History can be told in their stories – in our stories. The Historic House Tour is part of the Westmoreland Historical Society’s ongoing effort to move history from the abstract “past” and make it real to you.
All ticket holders receive a map with directions to each location and a keepsake booklet with historical information.
Advance sale tickets for the Saturday Tour are $25 and can be purchased at:
The Museum Shop at Historic Hanna’s Town (809 Forbes Trail Road, Greensburg),
By phone (724-836-1800 x210),
email (office@westmorelandhistory.org),
Mail a check to Westmoreland Historical Society, 809 Forbes Trail Road, Greensburg,
On tour day, tickets are $30 and may be purchased at the Museum Shop.
PROGRAM FEE: $25 with proceeds benefitting the Westmoreland Historical Society.
