Summer Camp "A Stitch in Time"

This year’s camp will focus on textile production like spinning, weaving, and sewing. Kids will learn about 18th century fashion and have a chance to try on some colonial era garb! We will explore the natural world and how early settlers made their own fabrics and clothing from the environment around them. Other colonial era and 18th century themed activities will be offered, allowing kids to discover the unique role that Westmoreland County and Historic Hanna’s Town played over the course of the American Revolution.
