Fall Family Day

Trick or Treat at Hanna’s Town! Celebrate Fall and explore the history of Halloween with activities for all ages at Historic Hanna’s Town.

In addition to a children’s trick-or-treat across our site, event activities will include fall themed crafts such as Halloween Tin Punch, making Corn Husk Dolls and Bird Feeders, and playing with 18th Century Toys & Games. Guests can learn about living history from members of Proctor’s Militia (I.B.W.C.P.), see spinning, weaving, and blacksmithing demonstrations, and view an antique farming equipment display. While you discover the tools and trades of the harvest season, take some time to explore our walking trails and learn about the history of Halloween by following our interpretive sings.

Travelin’ Tom’s Coffee Truck will be on site providing warm and seasonal beverages while you enjoy the fall foliage and ambience at this historic site and County park. Halloween costumes are encouraged!
