Revolution & Revelry at Hanna’s Town!
Saturday, 11 pm – 5 pm and Sunday, 11 pm – 4 pm
Historic Hanna’s Town will celebrate its iconic Frontier Family Days on August 15 & 16!
Step back into history and explore life during the American Revolution on the Pennsylvania frontier. Be a witness to history and experience the liveliness of frontier court at Hanna’s Town. When court was in session, the town would come to life. As the American Revolution took hold of the nation, court was no exception to this dramatic change. There was “Revelry” mixed with “Revolution” and we want you to explore the town like it’s 1776. And keeping in with the spirit of Tavern life, we’ll host local breweries to set up on Sunday, August 16th.
So join us and step back in time to when Hanna’s Town served as the seat of government for Westmoreland County! This signature event with a new twist highlights the unique role Hanna’s Town played in Westmoreland County during the American Revolution. Join us for lively court reenactments, along with militia encampments, living history demonstrations and displays, vendors, sutlers, activities for children, live music, and more!
