Be a Better Birder - presented by the Westmoreland Land Trust

Antiques & Collectibles, a community tradition since 1974, provides excellent buying and selling opportunities for lovers of antiques and anyone seeking vintage items. Browse for bargains and support local history preservation. Proceeds from this event have been vital for the reconstruction of Historic Hanna’s Town. The quaint and historic setting hosts numerous vendors offering a variety of one-of-a-kind items covering a wide price range.

Antiques and Collectibles is held the second Sunday of the month May through October. For 2025, these dates are May 11, June 8, July 13, August 10, September 14, and October 12.

This event will be held rain or shine. Sorry, no pets are permitted; service animals only.

ADMISSION: $5 per car.

VENDORS: Vendors of antiques, folk art, historical crafts, and collectibles (please no flea market items) are welcome to set up for the day or weekend. Spaces are 28′ x 20′ and cost $40 per space, per show. Discounts are available if all shows are paid in advance by May 11. If you are interested in being a vendor, call 724-836-1800 x100.

Trick or Treat at Hanna’s Town! Celebrate Fall and explore the history of Halloween with activities for all ages at Historic Hanna’s Town. 

• Enjoy Fall themed crafts such as Halloween Tin Punch, making Corn Husk Dolls and Bird Feeders, and playing with 18th Century Toys & Games.
• Members of I.B.W.C.P, the Loyalhannon Spinners, and more will be providing living history displays and demonstrations. 
• Interpretive signs covering the history of Halloween will be open to explore on our woodland trails. 
• Kids are welcome to Trick-or-Treat at our log buildings. 
• Enjoy the fall foliage and ambience at this historic site and County Park.
• Halloween costumes encouraged!

• Outdoor, evening walking tour. This tour may not be ideal for young children. 

Have fun with fears and folklore of the 18th century and explore the Scots-Irish origins of Halloween on this special evening guided tour of Historic Hanna’s Town. Discover the ancient origins and traditions of All Hallows Eve and step back into the dark and mysterious backcountry setting of the Pennsylvania frontier…if you dare!
