Event Details
Discover the vibrant world of watercolor painting through the unique palette crafted from farm products and local foraged pigments at Historic Hanna’s Town. We will be walking the trails and area to collect pigment and create our own watercolor paint with local farm fresh honey!
What are natural watercolor pigments? Natural watercolor pigments are derived from organic materials, offering a rich, earthy palette that synthetic paints often lack. By using elements sourced from local farms and natural foraging, artists can create stunning works that reflect the beauty of their surroundings.
Please dress accordingly for walking in wooded areas.
Historic Hanna’s Town is a beautiful and quiet Westmoreland County park. While we do work to preserve our historic built environment on site, we are also dedicated to preserving our natural environment through demonstration gardens, native plant restoration, and developing walking trails.
Pre-registration encouraged. Walk-ins also welcome. Please check in at the front desk of the Museum Shop upon arrival.
$10 for non-members | $8 for members.
