This year’s Historic House Tour invites visitors to explore the communal living and worship spaces of Saint Vincent College and Archabbey, nestled in the Laurel Highlands.
Saint Vincent’s historic campus is home to both a college and a community of Benedictine monks whose roots and traditions trace back to Bavaria. Together, the College and Archabbey offer a remarkable architectural story spanning more than a century, from early German building traditions to Romanesque Revival, 1950s Brutalism, and other distinctive styles.
Beyond the buildings and beautiful landscapes, the tour will uncover the stories that bring Saint Vincent’s history to life. Visitors will learn about the challenges of immigration and perseverance in the early 1850s, the experiences of students who called Saint Vincent home, and the people whose faith, vision, and determination helped shape the College and Archabbey into the community it is today.
Tickets are $35 a person and tours and Trolley will run from 10AM-4PM
